Two Wolves
Tom found this. I liked it so I thought I'd share it with you.
One evening an old Cherokee Indian told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between 2 "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?"
The old wise Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Dirty Daisy
Most of you saw this picture of Daisy, but I had to post it. (I'm printing out our Blog to put in a book for Thomas -- an addendum to his baby book.) This was how she greeted me one morning as I was trying to get Thomas ready to go to Aunt Goo's and me off to work. I think it was during the first week or so that I was back to work. I think she was tired of not getting any attention. Needless to say, she got some attention. We all got in the car and off to the groomer she went. She was so pretty when she got home.
